The Funky Mole Panic Dance

Browsing MetaFilter the other day, like normal, when I come across a link to this. Interesting, informative read -- also: terrifying. Please help me get out of my head. [more inside]

How scared should we be?

Sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Symptoms of skin cancer, in more detail. How fast does it develop? How worried should I be? Just from checking health websites I'm starting to panic and the only dermatologists I can get ahold of don't have any appointments open until late August. I have no primary care physician so checking it with them is out. My symptoms are inside. [more inside]
