I want to be done with my pills. So I stopped taking them. Just making sure that what I'm experiencing right now is normal because if it's not I've got a phone call to make.

I haven't been able to see my psychiatrist in several weeks due to my work schedule. I am out of meds and don't know what to do as his office is not good about returning phone calls. I think I need to find a new psychiatrist who can accommodate my schedule but don't know if this is possible. Help?

I was prescribed a shot (some broadspectrum antibiotic that hurt really bad) and pills: 500mg Keflex 4x/day for 10 days. This was to treat a pubic boil. My compliance has sucked to say the least. I try hard to remember but I'm not doing well with it. I've taken 11 pills out of 40. I should have taken 35 pills by now. Am I hurting myself? Should I continue taking them? I have a message into my doc to fess up to my slackitude.

I went to the doctor a couple of months ago after recognizing that my anxiety was getting out of control. I was prescribed Cymbalta and generic xanax to take as needed. My dr strongly suggested that I see a therapist and/or psychiatrist.

Talk therapy sucks. Did it, doesn't work for me, have the t-shirt. Meds work (or have); how do I get them without having to grovel to another therapist?

I'm looking to buy my cat's antibiotics online. As it's originally a human med, online people pharmacies might work. Googling gives tons of crap, obviously.

The trial-and-error method of ADHD drugs: I am already afraid of screwing up my job and I am concerned about all these side effects I read about people having. I can't spend 3 months spaced out or whatever until I find the right drug cause then I'll REALLY screw up at work. Can you help allay my fears or tell me how you and your psychiatrist and/or therapist worked this out?

ExerciseFilter: I've been doing the gym thing at least 3x per week for about 3 or 4 months now. Strength training and cardio mix. About 6 weeks ago, I started Trileptal as a mood stabilizer (I am not epilectic). I am on no other meds.
It's the type of drug where you ramp up your dosage over a period of time. In the last two weeks, my low THR feels like my heart is pounding as if I'd just been in car accident.

In order to save money on my prescription meds, I've been mail-ordering from Canada and the UK. However, I know that the online pharmacies that handle the process add a significant markup over the in-country prices available through the respective national health care systems. Over the next four weeks, I will be in both Canada and the UK. Can I fill my prescriptions directly, with a US doctor's written prescription? If not, is there some way to obtain a local physician's prescription? (The meds are psych meds, if that makes a difference.)

Bipolarfilter: I'm in a weird situation - I lost my health insurance, ran out of two of my meds, and now it's a month til my appointment with a good practitioner. There's more to it, but I just generally wanted some help with coping strategies to help me get through this next month. Some of the time I feel ok, but other times nothing feels good and I burst into tears at the drop of a hat.
