Anyone know of a way to get the Digidesign mbox mini 2 to work with an intel 915 chipset? According to the digidesign website, they are incompatible due to some USB latency caused by that chipset. This is causing my recording (using protools or other recording software) to have buffer overrun issues.

When I turn on the phantom power switch on my new Digidesign mbox, I get a warning that the device is pulling too much power from the USB port (and then it stops working). I'm using a Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop, which is one of the recommended systems on Digidesign's site. I have Win XP Service Pack II installed. What gives?

Tidying my email: Over the years I've developed hundreds of different folders for messages. They're currently all in Mail.app's MBOX format. I want to sort them into one big gmail-style archive folder, and get rid of the many, many duplicates.
Is there any way to automate searching for the duplicates?

How do I export email from Thunderbird to Outlook 2003? Yes, it's the other way around, from Thunderbird's MBOX format to Outlook's PST database. I already tried to using Eudora to import the mail from Thunderbird, and then export to Outlook, but it failed miserably at importing.
