Need an example of a divergent alternating series

I'm looking for an example of an alternating series: the terms of which are (-1)^n b_n, where b_n -> 0 as n -> infinity, but the sequence {b_n} is not decreasing, and the sum from n=1 to infinity diverges. [more inside]
