In the early 1990s I saw a bizarre marketing video for OS/2. It was a cartoon of about 20 min. It featured anthropomorphic computers with screens for faces walking around a Wild West town. The DOS Brothers (which include DOS and WIN) overrun the town's sheriff, OS/2 V1.0. Then the new marshal, OS/2 V2.0 comes into town and cleans things up. Is there somewhere I could see a copy of this video or are there even any records that it existed? [more inside]
Groupon and Dropbox used to have great 2 minute animated videos on their sites explaining how their products worked, the problem they solved, and why you should get it. (On Groupon I am talking about the Groupon Works site where they try to get businesses to sign up.) I went to go look at these today-- I am trying to write a script for a short video explaining a product I am building-- Uggg, these cool videos have been replaced by a sales page with no video. What does it all mean?? [more inside]

Can anyone recommend websites that have used video testimonials successfully? We are trying to find examples of good use of video testimonials on a website to encourage interaction, demonstrate the quality of the product/service, establish a personal connection with the user, etc. Does anyone know of websites that use this method in a nice looking and effective way? Thanks!

How do I get a hypothetical product in front of an actual audience of pro and amateur video editors?
If I wanted to get a hypothetical product, created by a hypothetical design studio, in front of a non-hypothetical audience of professional and amateur video editors, how would you suggest I reach them? I have found a short-list of forums and how-to sites but feel I must be missing some other resources and/or online communities. Thnx.
