Natural Gas Marketing - Where can I buy the worlds best training?

Please recommend to me a place to receive 'natural gas marketing' training. I found this place:

http://www.oxfordprinceton.com/about-us.html

But it seems kind of suspect ...something about the naming of the institution strikes me as off.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Is SMMU a SCAM?

Is SMMU a SCAM? Some of you know that I'm the lucky recipient of a rare blood cancer that is indolent, incurable, terminal and slow growing, but painful, I also suffer from fibromyalgia and sero-negative reactive arthritis and FINALLY have given up the idea that I can still work my sales job with or without an ADA accommodation. I'm not so lucky to have a husband to support me and my severely brain-injured 35 yr. old son or any support network, only 'youse guys' to ask for guidance. On Sept 1st I will have to choose to either ask for a telecommute only position with the company I've worked for for over a decade in some other area or give up and go on long term disability. (The company I presently work for has NEVER given a telecommute position to anyone that I know of thus far.) I can't pay the bills with that and will have to find a home for my son and one for me, a camper perhaps. I enrolled in SMMU on a trial basis and it looks like if I can get through this course at $275 per month I could find a position that suits me within the marketing arena which I know well from a traditional venue. I planted the seed to my boss around this idea of me working from home on promoting the company with social marketing, but doing it from home. She is not allowed to discuss anything with me prior to me being released from sick leave. ARRGH!!! I've tried flexjobs and there are some positions that would work except for health insurance. I loathe pity and still have a sharp mind and wish to remain independent. Has anyone actually taken these courses and if so, have you gained any benefit from them? Any suggestions as to what to do next at 58 yrs old?

How to get a career in marketing?

I'm a high school student interested in a career in marketing, how do I get there and what is the job like? I'm currently a high school junior, so I'll be applying to colleges about a year from now. I've been spending a lot of time looking at different careers, and though I've changed my mind frequently, marketing seems like an interesting option that would allow be to be creative while also using my brain.

I'd like to know a little more how a career in marketing works, how an average day goes, what skill sets are necessary, where to find jobs, payscale etc.

I'd also like to know what sort of education I should get in order to get a career in marketing. Should I get a bachelors in marketing, or should I get one in economics with a certificate like this? Then should I get an mba focused on marketing? Or would something like this as a graduate degree serve me better?

If you guys think its relevant I can post my academic credentials.

Thanks everyone! Sorry if I sound completely clueless!

I'm looking for a catchy theme for our Summer Enrichment group. I'm organizing a Summer Enrichment class for 10-12 students in 5th through 8th grade. Since this is enrichment rather than summer school students will not be required to come, but rather lured into the program. I am looking for a creative and fun theme/name for the program that doesn't sound like school, enrichment, or worksheets.

For background, the kids will be making a mural for part of the school, building their own personal computer, learning instruments in the music group, and participating in a drama club. They will do each of these things for one week over a month. They will also be going on at least four field trips.

Further background, our school is located in Chicago and the students are primarily for African-American descent (if you want to include something of that culture in the title).

I am specifically looking for a name for the group, but any other marketing tools would also be considered helpful.

We are Professional vs. "Check out this cute kitty photo."

Design Filter: Does anyone have any good best-of-field examples of corporate/institutional websites that are well-integrated with blogs? I'm looking for good-looking examples where a (dry, formal, professional, corporate) website is well-integrated with a (topical, chatty, personal-voice) blog, so the blog does not seem glued-on and doesn't conflict with the overall professional look/feel.

I don't mean technically, or how the url(s) are set up: I mean purely from a design standpoint, in terms of how the two coexist within the same navigation or home page links/integration.

My current need is part of researching a marketing plan for a private art school, if that matters, but this is a pretty generic question I've been chewing on for awhile.

In many cases, an organization's "traditional" website has to be safe, professional, non-threatening. But the same time, the vibrancy and marketing power of a blog is important too, in showing (not just saying) why this is a good place to work/live/attend/hire. To make good sense, a blog just cannot seem glued on, in a "click here for our BLOG omgcool" way, I don't think.

So I think this is a pretty general question for any website/blog that needs to both be coolly professional on the one hand, and aggressively marketing themselves on the other, so if you know any great examples in any other fields, that's fine too. A doctor's office, law firm, or private investigator might have the same conflicting goals, I imagine.

I am thinking about it so far as the "voice of the organization", as a sort of more useful replacement for the usual boring "About Our Philosophy" type content. Show us how smart and friendly you are, in other words, instead of just telling us.

I'd like examples if possible, but also general ideas/guidance. Blogs are not my thing.

The value of an Arts Institutes diploma.

What do people know about the Art Institutes? Specifically, people who have attended and left or attended and graduated, as well as employers and their opinions of Art Institutes degrees, people who have worked there, or anyone who has any knowledge about such things.

Also, what value is a BA in Fashion Marketing from AI?

Thanks.

I miss school

Are there any reputable online degrees? I'm mostly interested in doing an online degree in web design or marketing/advertising. I already have traditional B.A. and M.A. degrees in a different field (international affairs and economics).
The online degree therefore would not constitute an integral part of my CV but would be an addition. I am looking for programs where I would genuinely learn as opposed to obtaining a piece of paper (diploma). Can you recommend any schools or programs in particular? Are there any recognized rankings of online degrees?

Business + Journalism = Executive Leadership

I have realized though I still love broadcast journalism I am really interested in media business management and brand management. How do I get more training in these areas? In both my previous and current job I have discovered a real knack and enjoyment for project management and brand development.

I want to find ways to break out of the restrictive shell of journalism and into media business management in some form.

How do I get more training for this and who should I be reading or learning about to learn more about this?
