I'm hoping to someday change careers into a more writing-focused field. The advice for this is always "start a blog and join Twitter." Our company once had a full fledged marketing department but after years of downsizing we're on our own. How do you become an internet phenomenon? I am a writer who wants exposure and my friends keep telling me to start a website.
