I'm a 21 year old ex-pothead (read: addict) who recently embarked on an adventure across the world--and after 2 years of quitting, smoked a few times this month. It's helped with my anxiety and stress (which I suffer from greatly), but is also making me incredibly guilty.
Is this okay? When it comes to pot, is it still "once an addict, always an addict"? Do you have any anecdotal experience on this?

It's enough to say that I wasn't adapted well to being on my own; that, combined with the stress of a new job, a language barrier, and a few health problems that chipped away at my self-esteem, led me to take comfort in marijuana, on and off, for ten years. What happens to people locked up for weed in a post legalization state? Amendment 64 in Colorado and Initiative 502 in Washington state both seem to have a decent possibility of passing, and would make the posession and consumption of marijuana legal for adults. What would happent to people jailed in either state for possession or distribution of marijuana if either of these pass?

I know that American employers conduct urine drug tests all the time, but what about Australian employers? I was recently offered a bank job in Sydney, and will have to undergo a "medical examination" before starting. The information sheet says nothing about drugs, but does mention a urine test. Will they test for cannabis, and if so, should a month (after pretty much semi-daily use) be long enough to be in the clear?

I smoked half a joint yesterday and had some horrible reactions. I am not a daily or weekly smoker. I tend to go years with out smoking but recently started doing it a couple times a month. I never take more than a few tokes. I get really lazy, a little silly, and a little munchy. I go from feeling very dry and then back to normal (mouth).
