GPS and mapping software help needed

I'm a product rep and have to visit stores all over the city. I'm looking for a reasonably priced GPS that will allow me to enter various addresses, then the software will organize it and plan an itinerary. Do tomtoms, etc. have this functionality? If not, is there software or mapping programs that will do this? [more inside]

In search of maps with a higher purpose

I'm looking for Web sites that use interactive maps to display social phenomena, such as Oakland CrimeSpotting. They don't need to be that sophisticated. I'm especially interested in maps related to poverty and education.

Need geographical maps of earth

I'm looking for some fairly high-quality geographical maps of the whole planet (preferably contained in a single map, instead of being spread over several), but without any details on it whatsoever to do with places or names, not even names of mountains or rivers - no country/state borders drawn in either - the only detail should be things like the geography (high/low land, desert, mountains, forest, etc) Thanks in advance!

What is this location I spotted from Google maps?

Does anyone know what this facility is (google satellite image, Action, California.) It looks like a nursery, or something similar, but I'm trying to get more specifics for a hiking guide I'm working on (without taking the long, long drive out there.)

Crazy Farm Equipment?!!

What's going on in these strange circular regions (pictured here) in Christmas Valley, OR? My guess: Some kind of circular crop field, with a big rotating arm that does tilling/harvesting. If my guess is right, what kind of farm equipment is that and where can I learn more about it? If my guess is wrong, what is it?

acoustic performance of MAPS

I am looking for a Yeah Yeah Yeah's acoustic performance. MAPS. It has dissappeared off Youtube and I am dying. Its Karen Oh and the guitarist. Its like a sit down session, not a true live show. Block search, anyone?

Are there any new resources for the block search mapping that A9 used to have? You know, pictures taken sequentially along city blocks and mapped to the streets...
