Does anyone know of any web sites that provide you spoken manga? Specifically what I'm looking for is audio files for manga, read in Japanese, so I can listen to it and follow along in the manga I already own. Sometimes I have my Japanese wife read a manga to me, but often she is too busy or unwilling. I can read it myself, of course, but my Japanese is not yet good enough to know proper pronunciation, intonation and rhythm, and so on, so I find it helpful if someone reads to me. Anyways, any ideas?

In manga, what does that one eye open, one eye closed expression mean? Sometimes it seems like a regular wink, but other times I get the feeling it means something else. Does it?

Trying to find a bizarre and disturbing short manga, featured on Reddit a month or two ago. The manga in question played with the idea of panel art by depicting the inhabitants of each panel from different angles, or slightly ahead in time - a perspective from which they could be seen to be only partial bodies, or horribly mutilated, etc. [more inside]

Can webcomics fans point me to some good online manga or graphic novel type comics? Bonus points if the story is complete and I don't have to wait for an update every week (side question - why is it so hard to find webcomics that are completed?). Sex, violence, serious, silly, whatever, as long as the story is engaging and the artwork is well done. [more inside]

A question for anime/manga experts.

This is something I saw as a child, and have on occasion wondered about ever since. My regular Saturday/morning cartoons were pre-empted one day by a Japanese cartoon-- I remember it being as long as a feature movie, but that could easily be a trick of memory-- and I was absolutely enthralled with it; but I tuned in part way through, never got the name, and never discovered what it might have been. The year would have been around 1967 (earliest) to 1970 (latest). (MI) [more inside]
