MX Servers / DNS Zone File question

I have a domain name hosted by GoDaddy. For a year or so now I've not had a website, I've just had some DNS settings which 1) routed my email to gApps using MX records and 2) allowed me to use Jabber through the domain name by pointing the XMBB [more inside]

Why won't they let me use Outlook?

Any particular reason a company would not allow access to MS Exchange via Outlook and/or cell phone only allow access via Outlook Web Mail? [more inside]

How do I send out automated emails from my new website without being marked as a spammer?

I have an idea for yet another hairbrained social networking website (which paradoxically might hit it big :-) ). I've coded most of it up on a linux server using apache, php, mysql at softlayer.com. The hostname is registered at godaddy (which I can change if desirable). SQL 2000 Monitoring

I am trying to implement SQL mail fonctionnality for monitoring purpose under win2k / sql2k, only problem is to be configurer properly it must first obtain its parameter from Microsoft Mail API (MAPI) thru an already configured mail account, these are production servers and i don't feel too good about installing Outlook or Outlook express just to get an account configured so i can use this fonctionnnality. is there a way around this ? I am aware of several monitoring solution offered by third parties and i accept proposition (please no astroturfin') but I want to get that build in feature to work first.. anyone ? Thanks Selfsck
