Anyone remember a toy series from the '80s or '90s which had figurines about an inch or so tall with magnets in their shoes? I think they were part of M.A.S.K. in space, but I can't find any info about them.

I'm currently recovering from a pretty bad foot injury. Basically i was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle. My foot was smashed by the bumper and I suffered a talonavicular dislocation, which is a fancy way of saying my foot bones got disconected from the leg bones. The dislocation was reduced (owch) and now its immobilized. Someone sugested magnets would help me heal. Does anyone have experience with this? Does it work or is it nonsense? Does anyone know any other home remedies that work?

I compute and play music in the same room, and recently I've been getting nagging notions that maybe all the excess vibrations caused my amplifiers and drums and all such as that may not be the best thing to have my computer around? what do you reckon? and I also have my actual tower on my desk next to a pretty sizable audio monitor...should I be worrying about the magnet inside of the speakers?

iPods and refrigerator magnets don't mix. Or do they? I (accidentally) put an iPod in the same small backpack where, among books and other stuff, there was also (I didn't know that) an envelope with three small refrigerator magnets inside. the iPod seems to work fine. more inside [more inside]
