Last night I heard a great version of this song recorded by what sounded like a string quartet. Does anyone know anything about this cover? Google has failed me.

At the dawn of the mp3 era, I found a track on the web that has alluded me since. It was a remix, and may have been a home-brew, and it's therefore much harder to find. I'm hoping there's a Mefite out there that has stumbled on this in the past, and can point me the right direction. [more inside]

On the BBC World Service Radio show Music Biz, the old-school The Alarm was featured because they got a hit record by pretending they were the very young The Poppyfields, including a lip-synced video. But my question: the guy from The Alarm said he thinks even Madonna has an anonymous album out now. Does she? What is it?
