ExcelMacroFilter: Writing a macro that imports a series of .csv files into their own worksheets in the same workbook in Excel 2007 would save me ridiculous amounts of time. I have written a macro to import the files and rename the worksheet accordingly, but I'm new to VBA and can't for the life of me work out how to get Excel to automatically repeat the import from File_1.csv to File_x.csv. Help please? [more inside]

Excel 2003 says I have macros in one workbook. I want to delete them, but Excel won't let me. NeoOffice (for the Mac) also won't let me. When I look for them using the Macro Dialog box or the VB editor, I can't find them. Can I delete these macros, or do I have a serious problem? [more inside]

I'm using Windows 2000 professional. I'm copying data from excel to the forms on separate pages of a website, and have to repeat a string of keyboard controls several times. Is there an application I can download to do this automatically? Does the computer come with a tool that allows you you type a series of keys into the computer, then just "repeat" 83 times? I'm looking for a way for a macro program (RoboTask is the one I'm currently using) to tell whether or not a streaming video has completed playing. I think the best way to do this would be to monitor the current download rate to my PC, and when it drops to 0 kb/s for a second or longer, then trigger the video completion event. I have no idea how to do this, however. [more inside]

I need a Word macro that will go through a folder, run word/character counts on each file in the folder, and deliver a total count of Chinese/Japanese/Korean characters, ignoring all English. This seems like it shouldn't be hard to script, but insufficient leetness on my part (and the fact that I've never written a macro before) means I'm more or less clueless here. What am I missing?

What's your favorite Nikon-compatible macro lens? I'm completely new to macro photography (and still pretty new to photography in general, having purchased my first DSLR a little over a year ago), and I'm leaning towards the Nikon 60mm f/2.8D AF, largely because of the price differential between this and some of the other Nikkor macros. Anyone have any great experience with some of the makeshift macro lenses (using extension tubes, reversing rings, etc)?

Creative solutions for making a (shudder) Macro Express Macro run on a remote computer within restrictive group policy (all windows) (remote desktop or vnc type solutions are out since that would be too much of a disruption to the user of the remote machine) ... means of triggering the macro: keyboard input (hotkey), schedule (won't work in this case - needs on demand), or the appearance of a window on the screen - this is the most promising I think - but the obvious solutions are eluding me... how can I make a harmless window open on a remote computer? (I've tried msg and psexec to run a bat file, but the remote server bits are all off limits due to group policy.)
