I am adding an SSD as a boot drive in my Mac Pro. I am comfortable installing it, and intend to clone the existing boot drive onto it with SuperDuper! However, I'm confused about how and WHEN to move my documents, iTunes library, etc. in the process. Can you help?

I've retired my old Windows laptop and sprung for a new Mac Pro Retina with a 13.3 screen. It is gorgeous and fast. But my experience with Apple is limited to using an Itouch and Ipad 2. Is there a great detailed Pro Retina for Dummies guide, or especially great website for navigating what this machine can do? And what apps or tricks or tips would be especially helpful to install or learn as I explore this machine? Many thanks, all you Mac users.

So I work in a non-profit (education-centric) and I've been asked to put together a new Mac system to help me in my video editing work. I also need to archive 20 years' worth of videos and keep them safe. I could really use your help!

I'd like to replace the nVidia GeForce 7300 graphics card on my 2006 Mac Pro with something better. Unlike
this previous AskMe, I don't need a current-generation card, nor am I doing heavy-duty video. In fact, I'm hoping to spend $50- $100, which presumably implies buying an older card on eBay. What would be the best bang for the buck in that tightwad pricerange?

when starting up my 5 year old macpro, grandprix flag style graphics have appeared. Could this be a warning of graphics card failure? it is not N vidia so will be costly. The hard drive also needs replacing so is it worth the gamble on such an old model?

I'm a sysadmin for a small nonprofit. It's a mostly-mac shop, about 30 users and 4 servers. It's a pretty nice gig, but I'm largely flying solo on a lot of things, so I come to the hive mind asking what other "Mac Guys" are doing.

I'm thinking of getting one of the new desktop Mac Pros recently announced. I'd like to both run Apple's OS X and also use Boot Camp to run 64-bit Windows Vista on it. The question is: will I be able to use the Mac Pro's keyboard and mouse with Vista? Will I be able to use an Apple Cinema Display with Vista?

MacPro Leopard 10.5.2, Problems with the Quadro FX 4500 card. It has dual DVI ports. It'll run 2 DVI devices when it's DVI to DVI,
but it won't run the same two screens if they go via VGA (both DVI ports having a DVI to VGA adapter).
The second port (port 2) has the screen detected in the Displays System Preferences but the screen never lights up. Yes, I know all about DVI extenders, etc; I need the VGA to work.

Can a MacPro have an iSight camera? As a desktop computer it only can use an external monitor, and Apple's external monitors don't have iSight built in. The clincher is that Apple doesn't sell iSight cameras any more, separate from the ones built-in to MacBooks. So how can a MacPro connect to an iSight?
