I'd like to know the name of an old classic Mac OS shareware/freeware game I played as a kid (probably within a year or two of 1997). It was actually more of a freeware tech demo than a finished game. It had un-textured polygonal 3D graphics that were interlaced. You played as a (yellow?) wedge-shaped spaceship and flew around a semi-urbanized island. The spaceship could shoot, and there were other ships in an area that you could blow up, but there was no point-system or objectives. It may have had no sound, either. Trying to remember the name of an old mac computer game: Like chess, but the board could be set up differently, with blank spaces around which pieces had to move . Pieces moved like both checkers and chess. Some of them were "magical" -- could teleport to other spaces or serve as a wall. Certain spaces on the board were also magical -- destroying pieces, etc. Any ideas? Thanks.

Does anyone remember a "game" (term used loosely here) from about 1994 for the Macintosh which involved a large smiley face and a list of painful/lethal things you could do to it? In 1985 or so, there was an educational game for the Macintosh that I exactly once. It featured a robot on skates with an iconic programming language that you use to help make it travel safely through little virtual worlds. What was it called?
