Upgraded MacBook Pro RAM, now having trouble getting it to boot up. It will not turn back on after being in sleep mode overnight, otherwise it has no issues turning back on after sleep mode. [more inside]
Do the new mid 2012, non-Retina Display, MacBook Pro laptops have user replaceable/upgradable RAM and Hard Drives? I can't find a source stating for sure one way or the other.

, I put into my new Macbook Pro (2.3 i5) 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM in it from Crucial. The result was Kernel Panics and unstable applications. I reinstalled the (4GB) Apple RAM, and the problem went away. Crucial sent me replacement memory, I installed it, and guess what? [more inside]
I have a potentially rather silly question about Applecare as I purchase a new Macbook Pro. [more inside]
Why is my Macbook Pro using up its (hefty) resources like crazy? [more inside]
I'm a hard core Mac nerd who's a total Windows novice. Can you explain the weird RAM and graphics memory totals I'm seeing in Windows XP (SP3) on my MacBook Pro, and give me some idea of what I can actually expect when it comes to performance in games? [more inside]
I have Leopard and Windows 7 (7057) installed on my Late 2007 (possibly older, I got it refurbished) Macbook Pro 15". My problem is, every time I boot into either OS, I get a kernel panic or BSOD respectively.
The fact that it happens in 2 different operating systems makes me almost positive that it's a hardware problem. Unfortunately, I don't know very much about computer hardware, so I don't really know what to troubleshoot first, and I don't want to void the warranty by opening the case (I plan to take it to the Apple Store if nobody here can solve the problem).
Specifically, either operating system will crash about a minute into booting up. I don't think the problem can be too serious because everything graphically looks fine and all my files are intact. This leads me to think that maybe it's a RAM problem, and that it runs out of memory and crashes during bootup. [more inside]
