I'm writing a shell script to take a webpage and convert it into a text file. I'd appreciate tips as to how to store URLs, save the file with the URL's title as its name, and also just general tips as to how to improve the script and/or achieve the process better. Catfilter: What breed of cat is this? It looks as if it might be some kind of lynx cross but I've never seen anything like it in a cat show.

It used to be the case that when using lynx (from linux) if I browsed to a tar.gz file, it would ask me where I wanted to save the file. In recent versions, lynx seems to have changed its behavior. Now it attempts to open the tar.gz file... which seems really stupid. How can I make it go back to the old behavior? [more inside]
