I want to start batch cooking my lunches for the month. I want to create delicious, HEALTHY individually-portioned frozen meals that I can pop in the microwave. Other catch: they have to be relatively cheap to make. Suggestions for recipes that fit the bill?

Can anyone point me to a source of packed/brown-bag lunch recipes that genuinely take no more than 5 minutes to prepare, and aren't overreliant on peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches? Bonus points if it isn't all mimsy about low-fat mayonnaise and such. Also I only have an English freezer, so batch pre-prep is out.

I am looking for food ideas for someone who has to carry an entire days worth of food with them every day to work (for 12 hour shifts) but has no access to a fridge, microwave, etc. (it has to be edible at room temperature and not spoil within that time). About all I have come up with so far is bad sandwiches and snacks but I'm sure some people have some good ideas.

What's a good, simple lunch to make when hosting a few guests? I'm looking for something nicer than sandwiches, but not something that's going to seem like dinner fare. [mi]
