I have recently become interested in DIY Hi-Fi and being a college student with little electronics experience I am looking for a way to get myself better acquainted with everything before I start to spend too much money. Upon further investigation, there is a 2-inch black ribbon around the edges which is connected to some wires on the inside -- the ribbon seems to be a kind of 'reverse pressure zone microphone (pzm)...
