Lately I seem to be losing a lot of things - the screws for a chair, the screws I bought to replace them, a screwdriver to put them in, a cheese grater, now my wallet. I haven't really had a losing things stage since I was a kid. Confirmation bias, or is there something wrong with me?

I am on 75mg a day of Amitriptyline for migraines. Has anyone had any luck not gaining weight on Elavil/Amitriptyline? I have been on it for a couple months and am having a much harder time than I thought not gaining weight. Did any particular strategies work for you? Did the effect kind of wane as you got used to the medicine? Thanks!

I have a campus job delivering newspapers, and must keep track of how many were left over from last week as well. The problem has two facets: one, I sometimes forget how many I just picked up less than 5 seconds after picking it up. I normally do not have a problem with this, except with names. Two, I lose the sheets where I record the numbers about one out of every two weeks. [more inside]
