Where to get a great deal on new furniture in Los Angeles (Not Ikea)? Is there a furniture district or something? Surely there must be great deals to be had in some sort of industrial part of town or something, and not just Ikea, Plummer's, garage/estate sales, and Craigslist, right? [more inside]

Are there good alternatives to Craigslist for selling furniture (in LA)? Ideally what I'd like is for a bunch of guys in a truck to come, give me some money, take my stuff all at once, and that would be the end of it. Does such a thing exist? This is nice functional furniture, not mid-century modern or anything antique.
