I am looking for a simple way to keep a client informed on what projects I am working on for them, and what their current status is. A service like Basecamp is a possibility, but it is much more than I need. Their free TaDa list site is useful, but too simple. I need something a bit more informative, but easy to maintain. Any suggestions?

Keeping a daily task list on my Windows computer: is it possible? I don't need anything fancy, just a piece of software or a hack that lets me mark tasks as complete when I'm done with them, that brings yesterday's uncompleted tasks forward to today, and that doesn't bother me with tomorrow's tasks before tomorrow. Can anyone suggest a way to accomplish this? [more inside]

What's the best (free, easy to install, doesn't hog resources) emai list software for OS X?

I've been running Macjordomo, but it is buggy and hogs resources, slowing down my machine. I manage about 10 local lists, with not more than 20 members of each list.

I thank you, MeFi gestalt...

I'm looking for a very simple to-do list that will sit on my desktop. I've searched Google, but a lot of the results that come up are integrated with calendars and other functions I don't have use for. The ones I did download seem suspicious and attempt to contact their home networks; I don't want anybody spying on me. Does anyone use something like this, where I can simply type a linear list of things I have to get done, and have it floating on my dekstop?
