There is a characteristic to my speech in which my lips are often pursed tightly together when I speak. It's not a lisp, nor is it a tongue thrust. My wife says it's because I have a long tongue, so the opposite of a lisp. Anyone know if this even has a name? [more inside]

Speaking of lip balm... Blistex has discontinued my favorite, their Pro Relief. It's gone from their website. The active ingredients are dimethicone 2% skin protectant, and pramoxine hydrochloride 1% external analgesic (great for chapped lips). I can't find any other chapsticks with pramoxine in it... it seems to be mostly in cold sore cream. [more inside]

When I peel an orange or tangerine, I love to eat the pith off of the rind. When I do this, my lips always tingle for a while afterwards. What causes this? I've heard that orange piths have more vitamin C than the fruit itself, so is it the vitamin C causing the tingling?

I have lots of little bumps of varying sizes on the inside of my lips. Maybe "lips" isn't the 100% correct term -- but they're scattered throughout the area between my lips (where lipstick goes) and my gums. Both top and bottom of my mouth. What are they?
