Can you help me identify a movie based on a poor description of one minor character's odd mannerism?

Can you help me identify a movie based on a poor description of one minor character's odd mannerism? OK, fairly recent movie, last ten or 15 years. I think it's a good movie, whatever that means. Anyway, there's a scene, I believe toward the beginning of the film, where several people are in a meeting with a manager of some sort. The manager is either making a decision, or absorbing some information or something, and he does a funny thing with his mouth where he sort of pulls his lips down over his teeth and rapidly flips his upper lip with his tongue.

It's a minor character, and there are no easy hooks into the plot, and I just CAN'T remember what movie it's in.

The set-up of the scene reminds me, in passing, of the scene in Rushmore where Max gets asks Herman for $35,000, Herman weighs things for a moment and says, "I'll give you twenty-five hundred." The moment of contemplation, that's where the other guy does his lip move.

This is, clearly, a matter of life and death.

Shiny and sweet!

LipGlossFilter: I'm looking for expensive-ish lip gloss for a young lady, need some advice! My lady friend loves lip gloss. Shiny and light colors. I need lip gloss that is similar to this. Sweet, glossy, and not-so-cheap (but of course.. WORTH it), please! No "plumpers" either.. Thanks!

How do I make professional-looking homemade lip balm labels?

How do I make semi-professional, waterproof labels for handmade lip balm tubes? I am looking for a way to make labels that will fit on .15oz (4.25g) lip balm tubes. The labels need to be approximately 2 X 2 inches, have permanent adhesive to stay on the plastic well, need to be water resistant so the ink does not rub off, and have the ability to print on an ink jet printer. I have tried Avery 6572 Permanent labels, however the ink smeared and rubbed off the label. I then tried Avery 6578 Durable I.D. labels that are water-resistant, then I realized they were for laser printers only and will not work on my ink jet printer. I am seeking the most effective, best-looking way to create a durable label for the lip balm I make or an attracive, professional way to water proof permanent labels. I appreciate any suggestions.

It happened to this one lady one time

Theory: Cancerous skin cells from your lips, when aspirated, can give you lung cancer. This was propounded to me by a nice lady doing free "mini-facials" at the mall. She informed me that SPF protection for the lips was most important, because you could breathe in your cancerous lip-skin cells and develop lung cancer. A woman who never smoked a day in her life had had this happen to her. I didn't feel like arguing, because lip protection is important and besides the treatment felt nice, but I wanted to say: oh come on, cancer does not work that way.

Then I realized I didn't have any basis for that. Is it theoretically possible? Cancer can metastasize throughout the body, after all. And dead malignant cells certainly sound carcinogenic. Still, it comes off as a foaftale. (Especially since she also told me that you need SPF protection from your computer screen as well, and that a woman who didn't spend much time outside got skin cancer for just this reason.)

How can I tone down my red lips?

I'm a dude and have very red lips. How can I change this? My lips are very, very red. They don't match my skin complexion at all. I can literally go into Photoshop with one of my pictures and tone down the red on my lips by quite a bit and it then looks normal.

How can I make my lips come down to a more normal level of red for a guy? I'd love to hear any way possible. Thanks :)

Why is my lip being horrible to me?

Someone tell me what this thing on my lip is, and why it's there. It's transparent and firm. I attempted to squeeze it and it briefly turned dark red. It isn't painful. I've only now become aware of it; it might have been there yesterday.

Blurry picture inside! Here is the blurry picture of it:

Should I have have this looked at? Should I be familiar with this or have developed one before?

How can I stop biting my lip so much?

How can I stop biting my lip so much? I have no idea what my problem is, but in the past few months I've started biting my lip about once a week. And we're not talking like a quick little pinch...we're talking about my lip starts bleeding a lot and then turns into a huge ulcer that hangs around for another week...just in time for me to bite my lip again.

So what can I do to keep this from happening? I usually bite my lip when I'm eating.

Is it possible to get a pimple actually IN your lip?

I'm just saying this right now, this is a little disgusting. Stop reading now if that's an issue.

I just got one one those maginfying shaving mirrors. For the first time I notice something: a white spot (like pinhead sized) in approximately the middle of my lip and kinda far down. I have no idea how long it's been there. Coulda been there for years.

I left it alone for a week or two. It didn't get bigger but it didn't get smaller either. So I squeezed it.

This being my lip and not a rough patch of skin...well it hurt like hell. I was going to stop. But then, it came to the top, so I figured I'd give it one more pinch.

Boom. It pops. Like a pimple. Loose white fluid comes out. The thing closes up an hour later and then it's like it didn't happen.

What the heck just happened here?

How can I learn to read lips?

I want to learn how to read lips. I'm not deaf or hearing-impaired in any way (quite the opposite, actually.) I just think it would be a cool skill to pick up. So... where do I start? Any tips or pointers?

How do I stop using chapstick?

I use it way too much, and find that whenever I start using less then normal, my lips quickly dry out and then crack and peel up. So I lick them, which just dries them out. I've tried to just stop using the stuff (cold turkey), but my lips just turned to sandpaper, and I couldn't stop licking them and rubbing them together, and they even got to the point where they would bleed a little. Is there anything I can do besides buying a little tube of smack? How do I stop needing to us the stuff so much?

Tell me about your lip piercing experience

I'm thinking about getting a piercing. Lower lip, middle of the right side, to be exact. I've googled and found general information on the procedure, but I'd like to ask anyone who's had this done to help me out - I suppose what I'm looking for here is not so much knowledge as experience. (more inside) How much did it cost you?
How long and how much did it hurt?
Will it much affect my ability to speak and for how long (I answer phones at work)?
If I decide ten weeks down the road that I don't like it, will it scar when I take it out?
What reactions have you gotten from co-workers and bosses?
