My 350 won't let me take it's temperature

Another longshot hardware question, but not the wood table kind: I have an OLD Dell PowerEdge 350. I'm running OpenSUSE 10.3. I'd like to monitor system stats like processor temperature and drive status via the normal IPMI drivers. This should be possible; I can get it working on a 1650 using the drivers from Dell's linux website. It doesn't mention the 350 anywhere. Ideas?

Oh noes! My website is getting pwnt!

Does anyone have any experience implementing Pound or any other linux-based reverse proxy system? I'm trying to solve a "my website is getting pwnt by traffic!" solution by this weekend.

iptables stops?

One of my clients is running a linux firewall. (FC3, Kernel 2.6.10-1). Occasionally, the firewall box will stop passing packets on the internal interface for what seems to be no reason at all. [more inside]

Problems with GRUB and dual-booting

Linux Filter: Had to re-install XP on a dual-boot machine because I borked it. It overwrote the MBR, where Grub was installed. How do I get GRUB back on the computer, and seeing my linux partition?
