Is there an application that runs on iOS, or that runs on Ubuntu and has an iOS client, that will allow me to manage (as oppose to merely play) my digital music collection? I need to be able to import new files I have ripped, edit tags, and edit file/folder structure from my iPad due to carpal tunnel syndrome.

I have multiple Ubuntu PCs in multiple rooms, each connected to individual HiFis. I want to be able to listen to my 150GB music collection from any of the PCs. BUT, I want to have a unified record of playcount, so, from each PC, I can access a "Not Recently Played" smart playlist that has been updated from all PCs. I'd also like to sync this Not Recenlty Played playlist with my Android phone. How can I do this?

I listen to a lot of music. I also just have a lot of music that I have laying around on my computer waiting to be listened to that never does. There's also a lot of music that I want to have that I never really get around to buying/downloading. How can I organize my listening to make sure all my music gets some love?

Wireless Media Centers. I've ripped all my CDs to mp3 files and am looking at 802.11b or g unit to connect to my stereo/tv to browse and play music. However, all that I've seen (netgear, linksys, creative) all require a Windows based server to drive the device. Are there any out there that will work with a simple shared volume off a linux server?

At work we use Red Hat linux and I've used Shoutcast to stream music. Today, I tried it on a different computer than normal and got an error reading something along the lines of "digital rights conflict with mpeg1/mpeg2/mpeg3 and Red Hat will now allow you to stream music." Thinking it would still stream (silly me), I clicked the "Do not show me this again" box and now I can't stream anything off any website and can't see that error message to give better details. I also use xmms. Anyone heard of this or know what's up? Also, my normal computer is in use so can't test that one out.
