What do you do better than I do?

I've recently made some changes in behavior that go against the grain of how I lived, or against my expectations anyway, previously and I'm the better for it. What are the, considered or automatic, decisions and actions that you take on a daily basis that improve your life with zero or near zero net additional effort? Optional snowflake info inside as well for those that like to read. [more inside]

How to temporarily put a parking sticker on a car

My workplace demands a permanent sticker in the back windshield of all cars on the premises. I hate having stickers on my car. The rules state the sticker cannot be taped, etc. but held by its adhesive. Can anyone help me brainstorm a hack to make this sticker look like it's put right on the windshield, but have it actually on in such a way that I can put it on before work and take it off after?

What's a good solution for cyclic tasks, ones that repeat regularly?

Over time I've migrated from one GTD system to another, finally landing on Evernote as my GTD framework with help from 'The Secret Weapon' and Priacta. It's occurred to me recently that I don't really have a way to track repeating, cyclic tasks. I've tried spreadsheets, Google task, calendar entries but none have stuck around. What are some good ways to manage to-do's that repeat on a schedule? [more inside]

Can I take my water in pill form?

If I eat 8 oz. of water frozen as ice, is it the same as drinking the water as a liquid? Assume I'm not chewing ice, it's in bits I won't choke on, I'll go slow and take it easy, and I already have a high tolerance for and strong preference for cold, ice, and icy drinks/frappucinos/Slurpees.

There has to be more than this

I periodically get overcome by a feeling of what I can only describe as existential angst. Almost as if I can see life stretching in front of me and it's just more of the same: the daily grind of work, housework, weekends that are never long enough. Never feeling like I've achieved enough or done all the things I should, but also feeling like there's never enough time for it all. And what's the point anyway? Not in a "life is so meaningless I wish I was dead" kind of way, but just this nagging feeling that there's supposed to be something more than this. [more inside]

How do I reposition myself and jumpstart my life?

A series of interrelated mental and physical illnesses turned my life (and the time I spent in law school) into what can best be described as an out-of-body experience. Four years later, I'm beginning to come out of it--I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not an oncoming train. It's pretty obvious (to me, if not to a few people who believe in me and/or my talents) that finding a position at a firm is out of the question. Which leaves another question: am I out of my mind to think that I can, via the magic of another graduate degree, reposition myself and get the career I'd hoped for before the psychological bottom fell out?
