Are these books checked out?

I have just uploaded my very long Amazon wish list into librarything (neat!). I would like to see if these books are available at the Mid-Manhattan library. I know I can search for them one by one in Leo (the NYPL search engine). Is there a more efficient way for me to do this? In other words, if librarything somehow does this for me, and I just haven't found that feature, that would be amazing. I don't really want to search LEO book by book, because I am very lazy.

Really, any trick that will allow me to search LEO for more than one book at a time would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

LibraryThing for Music?

I've fallen in love with LibraryThing...but I wonder if there is a MusicThing? I know about last.fm - which already tracks my scrobbles excellently, but I would like somewhere to catalogue my 'real' music collection - something along the lines of Librarything (with cover displays, tagging etc) would be fantastic!

1. ISBN 2. Web Service 3. ??? 4. Profit

I need to know which book-related web service/API is best (most complete archive, most up-to-date, most metadata) for looking up information about books given an ISBN-10 or ISBN-13. I am writing a web-based application in which users (universities) enter the books in their collections into a database. To aid in data entry I am simply asking they input the ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 number and will use a web service/API to fill in the remaining details, if possible. So far I've investigated: Library of Congress, WorldCat, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Louis (APH), Google ISBN, facultycenter.net, Campusi, and Book Collector.

Which (of the listed or omitted), o' wise MeFites, in your experience is best for such a task?

PIRGThing

I need to catalogue my non-profit's library of books and videos. We want it to be accessible for students and faculty to easily see what we own and what is currently available for borrowing. I have been looking at LibraryThing, and am pretty impressed, but I can't see a way to incorporate our films, to give each item an id number, or to mark what is currently borrowed or available. Are there ways for me to do this, or would another site/software be better?

What ever happened to SingleFile?

Anyone know what happened to SingleFile (37signals' online book cataloging software)? Bonus question: why is LibraryThing succeeding (or so it appears) when SingleFile failed? I'm working on a project along these lines for a business plan competition, but the fact that the 37signals guys entered the space and subsequently retreated is ... dismaying. Reports from anyone who used SingleFile while it was online would also be appreciated.
