I'm looking at buying a used Nikkor lens to use on my D80 (and on whatever the next body I buy is when I finally retire that body). I am looking for a lens for my Nikon D80 that works well in low-light conditions. Something relatively compact and not too expensive would be best. [more inside]

Exposure difference between two lenses at the same aperture?

What can I do with my old F mount, non AE Nikkor lenses? I have the Nikkor monoscope adapter that works very well with the 200mm. What to do with the 28mm, 50mm, 55mm macro, 135mm and 500mm mirror (universal mount) lenses?
