I bought
these leather nubuck/suede boots (in brown) last year and wore them throughout the fall and winter. Due to my ineffective attempt at waterproofing them and lackluster cleaning, they have some lighter spots and dark stains. Some of this is just wear on the leather, I know, but is there a way to get the rest of that off?

Brown leather, wide-calf boots with minimal bells and whistles and a comfortable foot for under $200. Is this the impossible dream?

I bought myself a pair of Real Cowboy Boots the other day, and I can't quite figure out if they fit me right. Should I return them and find another pair?

I just bought a pair of amazing leather boots. They were the last pair. I'm not returning them. However, they're knee-high and the left one is a little too tight on my calf. I can still wear them, but I'm looking for advice as to how to stretch them, just a little, to make them more comfortable in the short term. I imagine that they'll naturally stretch a bit over time, but I'm hoping for a quicker fix. Anyone?

I have a great pair of Fluevog leather boots lined with leather on the inside. The leather lining has worn through inside one heel cup and is starting to rip more and more every time I wear them. Is it possible to get this fixed at a reasonable cost? Anyone know a shoe repairer in NYC who would do a good job? I want to save my boots! Thanks!
