Moving to Peachtree Accounting from Quickbooks, need to learn some basics fast and well: transactions, different account types (checking, credit, A/R), creating and tracking invoices. Print books cost $$$, are unreviewable, and aren't available quickly. I'd like to get this done today. Advice? Am I making a mistake?

"Best" and "worst" experiences involving grammar and learning grammar? I think we were asked to write this to increase empathy, but I can't think of anything with any emotional weight, so I thought I'd ask for your experiences. Please answer especially if you had a difficult time with grammar.

I'm in a French class with a bunch of college (mainly) freshmen, and I've talked a bunch of them into meeting for a study session on Monday afternoon. How can we best study together? I always studied alone when I was an undergrad.

I'm interested in acquiring a little comfort with spoken French - passively, by listening to it. I looked through a Podcast archive (and looked through some AskMe threads), and could only find French music. I'm interested in news, stories, interviews -- basically just listening to French people talking. Even stuff intended for children might be good.
