Lead paint used in Dixie dressers?

Does anyone have knowledge of the type of paint used on the Dixie dresser seen here? Or with other Dixie dressers of the same period (seems like roughly 60's-70's)? It looks nice, but....

They finished painting my house today, and the bill is exactly as I expected. However, I didn't exactly get the service that I expected, although the house looks great. Is it too late to try to negotiate a lower rate? [more inside]

Also, we pretty much have less than one month to do the floors. [more inside]

How can I paint over my lead paint?

I want to do some re-painting in my apartment. Unfortunately I'll be painting over several coats of chipping lead paint. Is there a way to pull this off without making it look awful or killing my brain cells? [more inside]

Save money or brain cells?
