Hang out the shingle or get more experience first?

I just graduated from law school on Sunday. I want to open my own law firm and practice criminal law after I pass the Oregon bar. But how can I get up to speed fast enough that I don't give my new clients poor legal services? [more inside]

Legally bound?

Adventures in Law School: I have decided I would like to be a lawyer. Problem is, my resume is tooled right now in a totally different direction. My college GPA was a straight-up 2.5 and the first time I took the LSAT I only scored in the 57th percentile (153). Is there hope or am I too dumb to be a lawyer? [more inside]
