Will the Korean doctor rob me blind?? Here's the long and short of it... my father is the doctor that pioneered tumescent liposuction. he teaches his techniques to other doctors on a regular basis and manufactures the tools and equipment involved with the procedure. Recently, a doctor from Korea, I'll call him Dr. Lee, took my father's course and liked it so much that he expressed an interest in teaching the course in Korea and to sell my fathers products in his courses. My father is very interested, but feels concerned that he must submit all of his technical files to Dr. Lee so that he can submit them in an application to the Korean FDA for approval. [more inside]

I paid the ticket, and asked the court (and the ticketing officer, at that point) about traffic school; they both said that the points wouldn't transfer to California or go on my record, but as far as traffic school to lower insurance went, it was between me and my insurance company, and they'd get in touch with me. However, can't I do something pre-emptively to keep this from going on my insurance record? Or am I screwed? Linda finishes writing her book and includes Sarah's story in it, using Sarah's real first name and some details from Sarah's life (profession, husband's first name and profession, Sarah's religious background). Is Linda legally allowed to do this without changing Sarah's name in the published book? Did Sarah waive her right to privacy by telling the story at a party? I have an 11 year old son who is active in a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh message boards. There are a group of people who frequent these places and post inappropriate web links on occasion. One time, someone posted a porn site disguised as a harmless link. Doing that seems like there is a some kind of law being broken yet I did not know where to turn to report it (yeah, like going to the city police will really help...pppthhh). Another time, someone posted this link (this just can't be legal): http://www.bonsaikitten.com/ My kid was very upset about the bonzai kitty thing and the porn. I want to be able to do something about this but do not know what, where, how. I am wondering if there is an online mechanism to turn to. These Yu-Gi-Oh sites are otherwise great for my kid and I do not want to restrict his access just because of a few perv's and/or freaks.

It was towed last week for being “parked on the grass” and for not “possessing a valid parking permit.” While there may have been other valid reasons for it to get towed, it was certainly not parked on the grass, nor did it need a permit to be parked there. I'm in contact with them, and I believe that they want to pay me, but simply don't have the cash (I could be wrong). At what point do I stop waiting? So aside from Delaware and Nevada, money going into an LLC would be taxed twice. Is that correct? Are there any drawbacks to making a Delaware or Nevada LLC as opposed to your home state?

One of the reasons I'm working as a 'C' corporation is so I can have the company pay all medical expenses. I've read from the web and various IRS publications that as long as the Medical Reimbursement Plan is offered to all employees equally (no problem there) then it can be paid for by the company and written off on the corp taxes.
