My new laptop has the world's most annoying feature: for about 30 seconds after (resuming from hibernate/opening the lid/mysteriously just happens), a popup will appear in the center of the screen announciing: " Power Save > Increased Performance" This stupid popup cannot be moved or dismissed. I have no idea where it comes from, or how to alter it. [more inside]

My new Motorola S9 HD bluetooth headphones are paired with my HP Elitebook 8440p laptop (Windows 7 32-bit) - yay! But no sound comes through. The laptop has A2DP technology, according to the downloadable manual. Both are "on" - headset & computer BT transmitter. Clues?

My Aspire 5003WLMi laptop collects dust, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the bottom cover to get at it. I can get parts out - DVD & hard drives - but that's about it. I've tried all visible screws, and shone lights into all holes. Help?!
