Probably the answer is to not text so damn much?

My iMessages keep stacking up/not getting delivered to my phone and I don't know how to fix this. On a typical workday my boyfriend and I exchange hundreds of messages (ugh I know), mostly on our computers. The problem: when I check my phone at the end of the work day, the messages are not there (which is no big deal) but they proceed to download over the next hour or so, preventing new messages from being delivered and churning through my battery at an alarming rate. How to improve FPS on Final Fantasy XIV?

I just bought Final Fantasy XIV, and I can't get over 8-10 FPS, even on the title screen. My computer runs Windows 7 64-bit, has 6 gigs of RAM, has an ATI Radeon 5450 HD graphics card, has 180 gigs of hard drive space available, and is defragged once a week. I have tried running the game directly after a restart and with no background programs on. I found something online about Razer Game Booster, so I downloaded that and gave it a shot. Nothing changes the 8-10 frames per second I'm seeing. How can I fix this?

Just How Many Generic Host Processes Does One Person Need?

So I'm checking my process explorer and I'll be - but I've got NINE host processes running. Why? Are they all necessary? Is this suspicious? All I have is a pen tablet, browser, AV and ISP going. How do I delve further to investigate? The only reason I'm looking into it is because out of the blue my ISP is majorly lagging and this is just in the last 2 days. SOMETHING is on my tail and I want it off. Thanks for any heads up.

Does PowerPoint 2010 run lag-free?

PowerPoint 2010 is running slow on my system. It takes a long time to redraw thumbnails every time I go to slide sorter (up to 1/2 second per slide), lags a lot when moving objects on a page or when flipping from one page to the next. Seeing as I do PowerPoint for a living, this is not so good. Before I shell out for a new computer, I wanted to make sure this is my computer and not a problem with PowerPoint. So, my question: Do you find PowerPoint 2010 to be nice and snappy on your system? [more inside]

It sounds like a satellite phone.

A week and a half ago, I bought an iPhone 4, thus switching to AT&T for the first time. Now, when people call me on the iPhone, there is a lag of a couple of seconds between when I stop talking and when they hear me, or vice-versa. The result of this is that we end up talking over one another, or saying "HELLO?" to one another, thinking that they other has not heard what I/they just said, when we are really just waiting out the delay. Baby Jet Lag

Our 6-month-old daughter has jet lag following a 13-hour flight home from vacation. While on holiday she seemed to recover fairly quickly but since we've returned she has been up all night for days. Any ideas on how to get her regular sleep pattern (10pm-6am) back on track?

Is Civilization worth the angst?

I've finally convinced myself that it's time to get Civilization IV, but after reading some reviews I'm worried about the lag/crashing problem (although even the reviewers that complain about the lag still seem to love the game). Looking for an extremely fast and ulta compact digital camera for my traveling. I want to take as much photos as I can, I do not intend on printing them.
