Know an online store that sells wrist cuffs?

Help me find an online store that sells lace wrist cuffs. I have a specific store in mind; I bookmarked it about two years ago but, alas, I've lost it. The cuffs were more of a sleeve addition that you buttoned on at the wrist to create the appearance of a lacy sleeve peeking out from under a sweater or shirt. I recall that most of the items were lacy with a sort Victorian vibe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The girls miss their lacy summer home!

Please help me find my beloved lacy black sports-style bras! My summer bras of choice have traditionally been various makers' all-stretch-lace sports bras, which were comfortable (no underwires, hooks or bitey straps, yay!), could wrangle a C/D cup size, and looked acceptable peeking out of a tank top armhole. Sadly, however, they all seem to have gone extinct! The closest thing I can find now is this bra, which is apparently no longer produced.

Does anyone know where to find something similar? It doesn't need to be super-supportive, just pretty and comfortable. Bonus points if it comes in black!

(Also: This thread was close, but alas, no cigar.)

Help me find a plus-size black, lace dress to wear as a bridesmaid dress.

I need help locating a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. There are a few constraints, but basically I'm searching for a plus-size, a-line, black, lace dress. I'm having a lot of trouble finding what I want pretty much anywhere.

The basic requirements are that it must be black, long, and formal.

My additional requirements are that it is an a-line cut, has a scoop / v-neck / or strapless neckline, and that the longest sleeve length is cap sleeves (i prefer sleeveless).

I would *really* like a dress that is black with a black lace overlay. I am seeing a lot of dresses with a black lace overlay, but usually the fabric underneath is nude, white or another color. However, the dress has to be solid black.

It also has to be available in actual plus-sizes, not just a line that goes up to an 18.

I've been Googling & searching all the formalwear sites I know. Actual bridesmaid dress lines don't seem to have lace dresses from what I have seen. If you can help me find some sources, I will love you forever.

Thanks!

Fix for slipping shoe tounge

Is there any way to keep the tounge of my shoes from slipping to the side? This seems to have perplexed my googling abilities, and nobody I know seems to have an answer. I have two pairs of docs that are functionally the same, just different colors, and the tounge keeps sliding to the right on the right shoe of one pair.

Is there anything I can do to stop this? They are laced in the exact same manner.

Paris fabric shops that sell beautiful lace? Paris dress shops that sell beautiful lace dresses?

Paris fabric shops that sell beautiful lace? Paris dress shops that sell beautiful lace dresses? I am going to Paris later this summer for a week. While there, I would like to buy beautiful lace to make a dress with, or jump to the chase and just buy a beautiful lace dress. For the dress, yes it's a wedding dress, but I don't want a train or a veil or sequins or beads. It's all about the fabric. I am willing to travel on day trips outside the city if this will get me better prices or selection on fabric (I doubt this is the case with dresses...). It would be great to find both Guipure and Alecon lace. It would be awesome to find some that is paisley or some other interesting non-flower-based pattern.

Does this thing have commonly accepted name?

I want to buy something but I can't think what to call it to search for it! It's usually used to cinch rucksack laces or shoelaces closed.

It's often barrel shaped and about 1.5 cm (a little more than half an inch) long, usu. made of plastic, and typically cylindrical, with a spring holding tension on an internal retaining plate and holes on either side of the curved wall. Sometimes the gadget isn't cylindrical and the holes are side-by-side.

You push on the ends with thumb & forefinger to press in a button that allow the laces to slide freely through the holes, and when you release the button, the retainer clamps the laces firmly.

I've tried "lace clamp," "barrel clamp," etc. and I'm getting nowhere. I've been to a sports superstore, a camping/hunting/fishing superstore, and a couple of big-box retailers -- all without success. I remember being in a camping store once where they had a huge fishbowl of these gadgets for 25 cents each.
