I transferred to Los Angeles last Spring. I hate the job, but I love LA. There has always been a standing offer to return to my old Chicago office. How do you evaluate the balance between being in a place you love, versus being in a job that's satisfying? [more inside]

I was hoping I could get some insight on how much it typically costs for: Electric, Gas and Heat, Water, Cable/Net, and any other utilties I may have missed. Thanks!

For example, I keep wondering how much of a difference things like the increased number of poisonous things will actually make to daily life. Just how different will it be and why? [more inside]
