I own a condo in a twelve-story vintage building in Chicago. I am trying to get copies of the keys to *my* *unit's* front door (not copies of the mag lock key to the front door of the building). Everywhere I go tells me it's a "do not copy" blank but my miraculously sucky management office insists it isn't and says they can't do anything to get me another key to my front door. Suggestions? Since I transferred all my data to a new mother board, when I switch from writing emails to writing in Word the 'insert' function changes, that is, if I have been writing an email and something getrs overwritten and I press 'insert' to overcome that, all is good until I switch to Word and the stuff gets overwritten until I press 'insert' and so on, ad infinitum. Is it possible to set the same default for both?
I use Windows XP, and am in South Australia.

I'm currently barrowing a car from my aunt and uncle and I just managed to lock the keys into the car. They are on vacation and I can't find a spare key. I'd really rather not pay a locksmith right now (college budget) and I don't have AAA. Does any one have any tips? Is there anything I should know before contacting a locksmith, any way to keep the prices low?
I'm open to any suggestions, if it were my car I'd just go in with a coat hanger, but the doors are sealed up pretty tight and I don't want hurt the car.
While it's not in a bad part of town, I'm also a little nervous about leaving it for more than a night with keys laying right there (as well as my PDA and my external hard-drive, which I'd really hate to lose).
Thanks in advance!

I live in a condo complex with a pool, and there's a key to get into the pool. Naturally, I've lost the key. The condo management wants $150 for a new one, which seems a little excessive. Unfortunately, it's a Medeco key, and from Googling around, it looks like they've done a good job of locking up the market so that people like my condo manager can jack you up. [more inside]

I've recently made the switch to Mac, and would like to do web development on the platform too (PHP webdev stuff). With PHP, I need frequent access to the backslash key, which on my Swiss-German layout is mapped to alt-shift-7 by default. This will Not Do.
Does anybody know of a (preferably free) program that allows me to re-map any key to another key? All the keyboard remapping tools I've tried just offer to map the modifier keys to a different modifier keys, akin to swapping keys, not remapping

I have the key to get into my apartment. The key to open my apartment complex's gym. The one for the pool. The remote to open the gate to the complex. The mailbox key. My Albertson's Preferred Savings card. My car key. My car remote. My office key. Two random keys that unlock things I'm not sure I even own anymore, but other than that, I use all these keys on a daily basis. My keyring currently composes half the bulk of my outfit on any given day. Please help me.
