I'm getting some kind of RSI on the side of the end of my thumb (exterior, adjacent to the right side of my thumbnail.) It feels like it is burning and getting worse. It is the spot where I hit the spacebar/trackpad. I'm worried, but in reading up on thumb pain, can't find this particular injury, nor any suggested remedies.

Year old apple macbook pro laptop. I spilled water on it and killed the screen. I have heard that you can plug in an external monitor if you have the right "dongle". I no longer have the dongle the laptop came with, so I would like to kow what is the name of the adaptor I would need in order to plug in a second hand LCD screen? And where would I get one? Every keyboard I've ever used has had those little ridges on F and J (or D and K) to facilitate finding home row without looking at the keys. So why does my work keyboard have the ridges on G and K? Google is failing me. Is there a legit explanation for this or did I just get a factory defect with the ridges shifted one key to the right?

When I type on my wife's Toshiba Satellite L25-S121, it drops characters. It doesn't drop the same characters, and sometimes there is just a delay before they show up on the screen. I've restored from the factory CDs and updated the Bios, but the problem persists.

I just bought a used Thinkpad T61 and the e,t, and space bar keys work intermittently. The keyboard is reasonably clean and nothing is obstructing the keycaps underneath. I have taken out the keyboard and reseated the keyboard connector. Is this just a bad keyboard or should i be worried about something else? (os is linux/ubuntu)
