How to get my laptop's keyboard to work after a beer spillage?

I spilled beer on my laptop. I got a missing or corrupt BIOS error on startup and a number of keys didn't do anything when pressed. I disassembled the laptop and cleaned the inside with alcohol wipes and replaced the keyboard. The BIOS error is gone and the keys register as input but in pairs. Is there a software solution to this problem? [more inside]

return me to the time before typing made this funny noise, the noise that reminds me of how clumsy I am

I spilled some beer on my MacBook durring an international Skype-powered drinking contest. The computer itself is totally fine, except everything to the right of my O key is sticky. Several Google searches have brought me conflicting advice on how to do this. The specific model is a Macbook4,1 Intel Core 2 Duo, the white polycarbonate one from a few years back. [more inside]

Help me unstick my Kindle!

I spilled a little bit of juice on a few of the keys on my Kindle. I thought I'd mostly cleaned it off, but when I took out my Kindle later, I found the juice had surrounded a couple of the keys and dried, making them difficult to press. What's the best way to unstick the keys without damaging the Kindle? [more inside]
