Access encrypted Macbook with broken keyboard?

Finally spilled coffee on my 6-year-old MacBook Pro, borking the keyboard. It still boots up seemingly fine, but the hard drive is encrypted with a 40+ character password and I can't enter the password due to borked keyboard. I tried booting it up with a USB PC keyboard attached, but the laptop didn't recognize it. The problem is not the USB, since it will recognize a USB mouse. Is there a way to bring up an onscreen keyboard? Or another solution I'm not seeing?

Wired Apple Keyboard Keeps Shocking Me -- Help!

The shocks are strong enough that I can hear them through my headphones as soon as the arc makes contact with my fingers. What is going on, and why isn't the issue resolved by grounding myself? My phone doesn't know me anymore.

Up until a week or two ago, my phone's predictive text function predicted not just which word I was typing, but also which word I was likely to type next. It used an algorithm which not only paired common words, but which (and this is the important bit) also learned which words I used frequently. Now that's not happening any more. Predictive text is still working, but it doesn't seem to be learning my vocabulary any more. How can I make this work again? [more inside]

Casio Tonebank CT-670 - Midi to USB - Help?

I tried all possible setting available in Fruity Loops and still no sound coming through on pc end. When I push a key on the keyboard should the midi cable light up that a key has been pressed like in this video at the 3 min mark? It doesn't does this mean the cable is broken?
