Should be a pretty standard google task, but all I can come up with is references to the claim - I'm looking for the original source, the moment where he first made that declaration, and hopefully the full context.

Karl Rove is coming to my university to give a talk. What should I ask him? First off, I'm not looking to be a complete d*ck and waste my potential question scolding him for his disgusting politics. I want to ask a legitimate, coherent question, because whether I like it or not he is an important political figure. Ideally, I am looking for a query that will simultaneously be good enough that the Republicans in the crowd don't immediately demand that I be tased, but also pointed enough to reveal his underhanded tactics, numerous scandals, etc.

Did anyone else get a Karl Rovian research poll phone call after the SOTU address last night? [mi] It was a 45 second automated poll, with questions very much like some that accompanied some RNC mailings during the Presidential campaigns. I'd like to find out more about the polling company. I think it was called "Election Research".

All yes or no questions, including:
Did you watch the Address?
Do you support the President's Iraq policies?
Do you consider yourself a Republican?
Do you consider yourself a Democrat?
There were also 2 very slanted questions about Social Security and "Tax breaks".

I never get political research poll calls, so I am curious to learn more about who paid for this one.
