I need some advice about how to move my life forward. Relationship, job, and home. A simple question: should I stay here or should I go back home, but with the usual tortured backstory that I will try to keep as relevant as possible! [more inside]

I met this girl, and we were sorta-dating for a couple of weeks, before eventually she decided she wasn't up for dating anyone at the moment and we had the "just friends" talk. I'm fine with that, but would like AMF's advice on best practices for making her have second thoughts. This is less of a bad idea than it might seem, I promise. [more inside]

JustFriends filter: A thirtysomething female friend of mine in the throes of divorce meets a guy via the internet. She's *very* clear the whole time that she just wants friends and does not want a relationship in any way, shape or form besides friendship. She likes talking to the guy and says that he's got a great sense of humor, but she's not willing to go any further. From the emails I've been forwarded, it seems that his big head gets it but his little head thinks she's just coy. Any way for her to turn him into the friend she'd like him to be rather than having to beat his advances off all the time? [more inside]

Advice for the socially awkward, part three million and two. I've been asked to have lunch next week by a guy I recently met one time through work. I have accepted. I'd like to let him know I'm already in a committed relationship without coming off as cutting. He seems nice, with friend potential. Have I already blundered? Is it a date? Help!
