I'm not happy with the way I look or feel. I haven't been for a long time. I'm severely overweight, have high blood pressure with a family history of heart disease and diabetes, wake up with back pain every morning, have zero energy if it doesn't come in the form of an energy drink or shot, and just generally look like hell. I have a bunch of pickles just hanging out with no brine. Just pickled cucumbers, right now sitting in a bowl loose. I have a big jar I can put them in, but...what liquid should I put in there with them? Do I need any liquid, or will they keep without? If I do need liquid, what kind? There are a *lot* of pickles. Through a strange set of circumstances, we recently came into two high-end blenders, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which one to keep. We were first given a Ninja BL660 and I've already used it a bunch. It's approximately 1000x better than our old blender. It turns out, I LOVE the single-serving glasses for quick smoothies and protein shakes because it saves washing the huge jar out. Then we were given an insane Vitamix Pro 750 which looks like it'll do anything except my meal planning. We really only need one blender: we already have a food processor, and a stick blender. Riddle me this... Fruit: Healthy and delicious! Fruit juice: Fattening and delicious! But what if I have a kickass blender that liquifies everything and I can put the whole fruit in the blender. To me, it becomes juice and therefore is fattening, but I've read that "since it contains the pulp" it no longer is, which seems like BS to me because it no longer has the consistency of pulp. I have two weeks off for christmas and I would like to use that time to do a very effective liver, colon, kidney cleanse. Can someone please give me a detailed plan including which order to do the cleanses; I've heard to do kidneys before liver so you can properly flush. I'm interested in what my meals should look like (juice fast, master cleanse, raw foods) as well as what supplements are helpful to expel crap from my guts. My goal is not weightloss. Girlfriend diagnosed with diverticulitis two days ago, admitted into hospital for IV antibiotics, hopefully being released this afternoon.
