Name of American punk band that covered "Insight" by Joy Division?

Name of American punk band that covered "Insight" by Joy Division? Looking for the name of the American punk band from ~2000-01 whose record contains a cover of "Insight" by Joy Division as the last track. Think they were from Philly. Put out one record before their lead singer become a mod/got addicted to smack/possibly both. Looked on allmusic but signal-to-noise ratio a bit too high so hoping maybe someone here knows what I'm talking about 'cause I'd love to have this song again. Insight's one of my faves and this cover had a much fuller guitar/drum sound than the original. Thanks!

This somber goes to eleven!

I really like The Nau Ensemble's CD Variations on Joy Division. If you're familiar with it, can you help me find more like this? Despite certain shortcomings, it's still one of my favorite CDs. But I'm stumped finding any other recorded work by the Nau Ensemble, Hans Ek, or Coro de Bellini.

To clarify, I'm not looking for recommendations for other string-quartet reinterpretations of pop music. And, while appreciated, I'm not looking so much for pointers to specific artists/composers.

When it comes to classical/chamber/choral music I'm more of a "I don't know much about it, but I know what I like" kind of person. So I lack the vocabulary to better describe what I like about it (apart from that it's lush yet sparse, simple yet stretches out a bit, and has an ideal choral-to-instrumental ratio). So I'm hoping for recommendations along the lines of "I love that CD too and you'd probably like [this specific CD]."

Thanks in advance!

Manchester music meanderings

Where can I take a musically-obsessed American friend around Manchester and London? An American friend of mine is coming to stay with me in Manchester next week, and has expressed a profound interest in all things Mancunian and music, such as Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays, The Smiths, electro music, goth music, etc.

Alas, the only things I can think of to show her are the Salford Lads Club and what’s left of the Hacienda. Do you have any better suggestions ?!
