So I've been using Oh Life
to keep a journal for the last two years. The most useful feature is that it emails you a daily prompt, then stores your response online. You can also export all of your entries as a single document at any time. Sadly, the site is going away in October. Are there any other online journal apps that have similar email prompts, and aggregate your entries? [more inside]
My great grandfather kept a diary in 1914. I want an unlined diary of comparable size and appearance for 2014. (see picture link) [more inside]
I have never been a consistent journal keeper, and I would like to start today! I bought myself one of those five-year journals that has just enough space to write a thought or two each day. Because I overthink and like structure, I am thinking through all the ways to use it before I make that first entry. I have separate apps for exercise and to-do lists. I guess I am looking for a daily prompt or two for this journal.
Please help me out: Five years from now, what would you be interested in reading about your daily life?

My daughter (18) is a great fan of Bridget Jones. On her Christmas list this year is 'a diary'. Putting 2 and 2 together, I have been searching for a Bridget Jones Diary er, Diary (if you see what I mean).
You know the kind of thing. Imagine a "Winnie the Pooh" Diary with pictures and information (as well as being a diary too). But with stuff from the Bridget Jones Film.
Can't find one anywhere. Have the marketing people missed this wonderful opportunity for Christmas and 2005?
