Joss Whedon, Toy Story script doctoring

I recently read an article saying that the Pixar film Toy Story "really came together" when Joss Whedon started working on the script. Does anyone know how he contributed or what he actually did to the story? I realize there are a number of writers who worked on the story--many say Joss Whedon made the greatest contribution. I'd like to know how.

How does Fox keep scoring new TV shows from geniuses?

How does Fox keep scoring new TV shows from geniuses? Series after series of wonderful shows with dedicated fan support... completely mistreated, and then usually canceled, by Fox. Episodes out of order, not shown at all, timeslots changed on a whim. You all know what I'm talking about.

Yet, Fox keeps landing new shows from the likes of Matt Groening, Seth MacFarlane, and Joss Whedon.

How and why? Continual promises that this time it will be different? Truckloads of cash? What's really going on here? Is there some offer that Fox can make that the other networks can't match?

Josh Whedon's Astonishing X-Men: questions of continuity

A question for people who've been reading Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men... I haven't read X-Men (or many comic books) for a few years so I'm not up on the continuity. So I was wondering -- what's up with Kitty Pride -- she looks younger than last time I met her and in the memories which appear in the opening issue -- have I missed something or is it just the way the artist is drawing her? Also, while I'm here, what's happened to Jean Grey?

[I have tried Googling for this stuff and all I've found are rightly glowing reviews for this new series]
