Why does Jon Stewart insist that his guests sit down before he does? He will keep standing no matter what, even if it creates an uncomfortable situation. It's awkward and has always bugged me.

SketchFilter: I need help remembering where I saw a particular comedy sketch. The one portion that I remember was Fred Schneider (of the B-52s) or someone who was supposed to be him following a person around and while the person is going to the bathroom in a public stall, Fred pops his head up over the door and sings "Everybody's taking a poopoo!" I think this was during the early 90s. I thought it might have been the Ben Stiller show, but I just saw the DVD of that show and it was not, in fact, on that show. Help!

Who is Jon Stewart imitating when he does that weird voice on the Daily Show? He does it almost every night and I don't really get the joke.
